To anyone who have watched me or appreciate what I do, this is for you. And I hope you like it.

Obviously Violet is a rather suiting name, but how about Yvanna? or do you guys have any other suggestion what to name her?

To tell you a bit more about this illustration, it has been an ongoing project for a few months now. On and off... Took a BIG brake in between the production, which really gives you fresh eyes. The only danger with that is loosing inspiration to finish something old. But a few weeks vacation gave me new energy to finish this.

The software used is photoshop and a mixture of brushstrokes, mask layers and shapes. Did quite a lot of experimentation with different effects. I worked hard on the composition for this piece and tried to push myself.


Please give me your thoughts, and again I hope you guys enjoy this!

Awesome, Man! And I prefer Yvanna. Pays homage to the Valar in the Silmarillion, pre-history of The Lored of The Rings. The Valar were the gods who made Ea or Earth. "Yavanna" created all living things in Middle Earth. So it makes sense that it is she who is battling the robot warriors. Very fitting. Go with Yvanna! :D
